Bowerbird Nest

Tucked behind a 1960s home, this discreet studio facilitates ageing in place, allowing its owners to stay put in their much-loved suburb. Its design and siting establish privacy and allow the existing home to be occupied by others. The broadening layout creates the illusion of generous spaces, while walls of joinery design plentiful storage into the architecture, defining different areas within this compact studio.
